Melanie is a seasoned and skilled professional with a breadth and depth of academic accomplishment and work experience that includes entrepreneurial as well as senior executive and managerial positions in both the private and non-profit sectors.  With more than 20 years of combined marketing, communications, business development and project management experience, Melanie brings a proven track record of accomplishments to gordongroup’s clients.  

Before moving to Ottawa ten years ago, she lived and studied in Vancouver where she graduated from the University of British Columbia before co-founding and growing an innovative software development company.  After taking time to start her family she then started her own boutique consultancy and worked with some select high technology, environmental consulting, consultation management, and non-profit organizations.  

A high-performing, strategic, creative and seasoned marketer, she has successfully promoted and delivered innovative programs, projects, services, and high-tech solutions into a range of market verticals.  Melanie prides herself on her ability to nurture long lasting and effective client relationships based on collaboration, and dedication to fully understanding a client’s objectives, perspectives, and challenges, while consistently ensuring a high degree of quality, value, and professional results that exceed expectations.
