Director, Advertising Sales
Kirill’s confidence, leadership and excellent organizational skills have inspired gordongroup’s advertising sales team members to increasing successes every year. As the advertising sales manager, Kirill leads his team in generating sales for print and web-based publications through innovative marketing solutions, participating in career events across the country, enticements, incentives and tailored offers. He produces sales for our clients by growing their customer portfolios and developing new business.
Within gordongroup’s contract publishing division, Kirill has been involved in all stages of the sales process for print and online editions of Career Options, Options Carrières, Career Options for High School Students and Options carriers pour les étudiants de niveau secondaire magazines. He has taken a leading role in developing Options carrières in Quebec. Kirill also manages the advertising sales for BIOTECanada’s insights magazine, Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation’s Impact magazine, and the Chemical Institute of Canada’s Chemical News.
Before joining gordongroup, Kirill honed his sales skills as an account sales representative with Reed Exhibitions Group in France, the world’s leading organizer of trade and consumer exhibitions. He played an integral role in the company’s 35 percent growth increase throughout Eastern Europe. He also worked as a customer service manager at Volvo Automobile, where he achieved several customer relations awards, and at Renault Assistance and Toyota, where he dealt with customer satisfaction issues.
Kirill’s fluency in English, French, Russian and Ukrainian gives him an added advantage when reaching out to customers in new markets.
