VP, Operations

Jodi’s quiet confidence and calm manner, in combination with her organizational and management experience in employee and client relations, ensure that she is highly successful as the VP of Operations at gordongroup. She is a goal-oriented professional who plans and manages several of our key accounts while exceeding client expectations. With a zest for tackling new challenges and a reputation for achieving positive outcomes, Jodi manages key accounts such as the Grand Council of the Crees and Ashcroft Homes. She liaises with clients regularly; maintains an “on-call” availability to handle unforeseen challenges or accommodate shifting or tight project deadlines; provides clear direction for work to be completed; and develops and monitors workplans and budgets. For the Crees, she manages the thousands of details that go into producing a four-part documentary film series. And for Ashcroft, she has overseen the successful marketing campaigns for the Q West condominium development and the RE Hotel and Residences. Before joining gordongroup, Jodi was a project manager/office manager administrator for a career management company with offices in Kanata, Ottawa and Kingston. She was identified as a top-talent employee within Canada due to her work ethic, commitment to the brand and strong client focus. Jodi has also worked as a teacher for primary and kindergarten children with the Ottawa School Day Nursery, where she was program supervisor and co-director. She trained new students, staff, and volunteers on skills in interacting with children and families, corporation policies and Ontario legislation. When Jodi is not working, she can typically be found outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and keeping in shape through jogging, training her two young horses, landscaping/gardening and four-wheeling on her country property.
